PEP:
HER WINNING ANSWER.
"If I had to change my religious beliefs, I would not marry the person that I love because the first person that I love is God who created me. And I have my faith and my principles and this is what makes me who I am. And if that person loves me, he should love my God too."
"But before kasi, my mom and I... My mom is really strict and she always tells me na dapat yung magiging boyfriend ko, yung asawa ko, should be a Christian first, and that our relationship should be centered with God.
"Kumbaga, walang kinalaman sa pageant or sa Question-and-Answer, it's just what she taught me and it just came out naturally."
MISS UNIVERSE TITLE.
Aniya, "I think everything is just, you know, part of the plan.
"And para sa akin, I'm really happy to be part of Top 5.
"Among 89 candidates and you end up in Top 5, that's a great achievement already.
"And I already said that in a competition, there's a winner, someone will lose, someone will win, di ba?
"And we should, like, accept things for what they are.
"I think what makes a winner is not just winning the crown but being able to accept that hindi ikaw yung nanalo.
