Clever, often funny, and always really enjoyable work by Czech photographer Petr Žižak.

Petr Flynt
I've long enjoyed Czech photographer Petr Flynt's weird and humorous imagery but haven't checked it out for a while.
*NOTE: UPDATED WITH NEW LINK April 30/11*
Thanks to reader Nicolas for reminding me about this interesting artist.

Bernadinism
Unusual and creative work by photographer Alva Bernadine; all featured on one of the most spectacularly weird websites I've seen. (And I've seen a lot!)

Alberto Bevacqua

Here's an unusual combination of artistic disciplines that end up working well together. California based furniture and steel fabricator/photographer Alberto Bevacqua utilizes his skill with metal to create strange body ornaments for his models. Interesting stuff.

i.m. ruzz

Calgary based photographer, writer, film-maker and all round interesting guy i.m. ruzz.
The writing that accompanies his photographs brings a whole new dimension that I found really engaging.

Jan Hronsky

Edgy, dark, oddball, humourous, with a touch of glamour, erotica and fashion. It's pretty hard to hang a definition on the work of Czech photographer Jan Hronsky.

John Ross

Intriguing high-concept work by UK photographer John Ross. The Blood series is my favourite.

Marc Gronnebaum

German photographer Marc Gronnebaum's Slime series is definitely one of the odder concepts I've come across recently. Sometimes models really earn their pay!

Patrick Rochon

Canadian born photographer Patrick Rochon takes light painting to a whole new level with these spectacular images. The most incredible thing is that all of these are 100% analogue, there is no digital manipulation in post-production.
Of particular interest to the readers of this blog are the Butoh and Experimental galleries.
