Alaska militia member, Coleman Barney, denied bail. Whew!

Courtesy of Alaska Dispatch:

One of the things that fumbled Barney's chances for bail was something for which he isn't even charged, dating back to events that took place late one night last November outside a Fairbanks television studio. Cox had a scheduled appearance at the building and felt he needed security, with Barney in charge. The detail involved about a half dozen, armed militia members patrolling the block, blocking access and turning citizens away. Some of the guards, including Barney, who also had with him an anti-personnel riot control device – a burst of rubber bullets that could be deployed via a grenade launcher, stood watch along the perimeter in the shadows. The judge found the operation, which Barney spoke about on the stand, troubling.

"The defandant's activities in regard to a 'security detail' for co-defendant Francis Schaeffer Cox indicated a very substantial danger to the safety of other persons and the community and, in particular, a willingness to use assaultive behavior illegally to prevent the lawful arrest of another," Judge Bryan wrote.

Well THAT is certainly good news. I know that there were some people who were pretty worried about Barney getting out.

By the way it certainly did not help to have Coleman Barney take the stand in his own defense.

Barney admitted that -- like many Americans involved in the tea party movement -- he's worried about the direction of the country. But Barney said he advocated change through nonviolence. He said he believed that change could be achieved through education, through holding law enforcement accountable to the Alaska and U.S. constitutions, and through the legislative process.

"Everything I have been pushing for has been of peaceful means," he said.

He helped set up the Second Amendment Task Force, aimed at protecting gun rights, and the Liberty Bell Network, designed to provide citizens a witness network to unlawful search and seizure. And the efforts, he said, have already paid off, citing a new state law (A.S. 44.99.500) that legalizes silencers and other weapons.

If such items are made in Alaska, they are none of the federal government's business, Barney said.
When it came to alleged murder plots and anti-government loyalties, the Feds, Barney would have the court believe, simply got it wrong.

But on cross examination, prosecutor Steven Skrocki was able to get Barney to admit that he was, in fact, a command major in Cox's Alaska Peacemakers Militia. And Barney also said that, if necessary, he was also prepared to kill, though he said only as last resort.

Just to bring you up to speed the individuals that Coleman was admitting he was prepared to kill were Federal agents which the incredibly paranoid Schaeffer Cox had convinced himself, and his friends, were out to kill him.

I think this should serve as a wake up call for those who are still laboring under the assumption that the Teabaggers are not potentially dangerous, or not associated with any violent extremists.

By the way I have been hearing some rather interesting tidbits of information from my sources that there are far more connections between Sarah Palin, Joe Miller, and Schaeffer Cox than have previously been brought to light.  I am attempting to make headway on that story right now, and will keep you all updated once I get something really good.

What was the motivation behind the Oslo killings? And are they destined to happen in America next?

This is pretty chilling stuff folks so you may want to have at the very least a cup of coffee before reading this.

Courtesy of the Foreign Policy blog:

I have just finished reading through what appears to be the 1,518-page manifesto and handbook of the alleged perpetrator of the worst terrorist attack in Norwegian history.

The manifesto, bylined by someone calling himself Andrew Berwick, is entitled "2083: A European Declaration of Independence" and was posted on Stormfront.org, a white supremacist website, and discovered by American blogger Kevin I. Slaughter. [UPDATE: Norwegian TV has confirmed that the author is indeed the Oslo shooter, according to the New York Times.]

In it, "Berwick" declares himself a "Justiciar Knight Commander," a leading member of a "re-founded" Knights Templar group formed at an April 2002 meeting in London. He claims the founding group has 9 members, whom he does not name, and that three other sympathizers were not able to attend the original meeting.

"Our purpose," the document reads, is to "seize political and military control of Western European countries and implement a cultural conservative political agenda."

In grim, apocalyptic language, it advocates attacks on "traitors" across Europe who are supposedly enabling a Muslim takeover of the continent.

"[W]e should… not exceed (per 2010) aprox. 45 000 dead and 1 million wounded cultural Marxists/multiculturalists in Western Europe," the author writes. "The time for dialogue is over. We gave peace a chance. The time for armed resistance has come."

The manifesto also provides detailed instructions for everything from making a bomb to raising funds to preparing physically and mentally for what the author describes as a coming three-stage "civil war" between patriotic nationalists and "multiculturalists" who are, wittingly or not, destroying European civilization.

Filled with hateful rantings against Muslims -- whom the author claims are on a trajectory to take over Europe and erase its culture patrimony -- the writing bears a great resemblence to online comments attributed to Anders Breivik, 32, the confessed perpetrator of a massacre that has so far claimed nearly 100 lives.

The author also claims to be Norwegian, and says that English is not his native language. And at the bottom of the document are several pictures of Breivick in different outfits, including the frogman costume pictured above.

There is much more which you can read for yourself by clicking the link above.

This is very frightening information indeed, and I am sure I am not the only one amongst us who immediately thought of Jared Lee Loughner, or Timothy McVeigh, after reading of this tragedy and then wondered if, in this time of vicious political bickering, the very same kind of horrific incident wasn't in America's immediate future as well.

I can tell you with certainty that Frank Schaeffer has very little doubt:

There is a growing movement in America that equates godliness with hatred of our government in fact hatred of our country as fallen and evil because we allow women choice, gays to marry, have a social safety net, and allow immigration from other cultures and non-white races.

According to the Guardian newspaper, the killer wrote:

"Today's Protestant church is a joke," he wrote in an online post in 2009. "Priests in jeans who march for Palestine and churches that look like minimalist shopping centres. I am a supporter of an indirect collective conversion of the Protestant church back to the Catholic."

It seems Anders Behring Breivik longed for a "pure" and ultra conservative religion. He was a man of religious conviction, no liberals with their jeans need apply! Liberals beware.

Norway is just a first taste of what will happen here on a larger scale.

I certainly hope that this time Mr. Schaeffer is incorrect, but I cannot pretend not to see the same gathering storm clouds of which he is speaking.

And for those who have recently questioned why I still bother to call out Sarah Palin on her lies, and reveal to the world just how insane she, and her political points of view, are, this is why. Because the people behind this kind of hatred, and plans for Christofascist domination, are looking for an attractive package behind which they can broadcast their message of hate and divisiveness until the country is so splintered that they can then step in to grab hold of the reins of power.

I have long been convinced that Sarah Palin WAS the vessel that they chose to further their agenda.  But we, with no small amount of help from Palin herself, have managed to damage her credibility to the point that I don't believe they find her useful any longer. By no means am I suggesting that she is not still somebody whose activities should be monitored carefully, because she is.

However there are others like Bachmann and Perry with which we still to contend.  And hidden in the shadows there can be no doubt that America has its version of an Anders Behring Breivik, just waiting in the wings for that last straw to snap his emotional camel's back, or perhaps for direction from a Right Wing radio host or Fox News talking head, to provide a clue as to which enemy he needs to place in his crosshairs.

In other words my friends when it comes to unveiling the dangerous agendas of the lunatic fringe, or shining the light of truth on dark plots of nefarious political operatives, we have really only just begun.

In the immortal words of Robert Frost:

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Right Wing extremist murders at least 80 people in Norway.

Anders Behring Breivik, the face of terror
Courtesy of the New York Times:

Norway suffered a pair of devastating attacks on Friday when powerful explosions shook the government center here, killing seven people, and shortly after a gunman stalked youths at an island summer camp for young members of the governing Labor Party, killing at least 80.

The explosions in Oslo, from one or more bombs, turned the tidy Scandinavian capital into a scene reminiscent of terrorist attacks in Baghdad or Oklahoma City, panicking people and blowing out windows of several government buildings, including one housing the office of the Norwegian prime minister, Jens Stoltenberg, who was unharmed.

The state television broadcaster, citing the police, said seven people had been killed and at least 15 wounded in the explosions, which they said appeared to be an act of domestic terrorism.

Even as the police locked down a large area of the city after the blasts, a man dressed as a police officer entered the youth camp on the island of Utoya, about 19 miles northwest of Oslo, a Norwegian security official said, and opened fire. “He said it was a routine check in connection with the terror attack in Oslo,” one witness told VG Nett, the Web site of a national newspaper.

Of the at least 80 people killed on the island, some were as young as 16, the police said on national television early Saturday.

Terrified youths jumped into the water to escape. “Kids have started to swim in a panic, and Utoya is far from the mainland,” said Bjorn Jarle Roberg-Larsen, a Labor Party member who spoke by phone with teenagers on the island, which has no bridge to the mainland. “Others are hiding. Those I spoke with don’t want to talk more. They’re scared to death.”

Many could not flee in time.

After the shooting the police seized a 32-year-old Norwegian man on the island, according to the police and Justice Minister Knut Storberget. He was later identified as Anders Behring Breivik and characterized by officials as a right-wing extremist, citing previous writings including on his Facebook page.

I was watching this unfold yesterday on Twitter and via news updates, starting with the bombings in Oslo and culminating with the shootings at the youth camp, and I just kept thinking "Jesus, is it over yet?"

All of those poor children doing nothing but enjoying their day at camp and suddenly they are screaming in terror running for their lives.

Is this guy Norway's Jared Loughner?  Another politically motivated madman, taking out his anger and frustration through terrorist acts directed at innocent bystanders and children? And will Norway respond the same way Arizona did, by refusing to implement more gun control laws to protect their citizens?

So much senseless violence for such petty reasons.

o'bamacide - $86,000,000 in last 3 months.

$86,000,000.
That’s how much money President Obama and the Democratic National Committee just announced they raised in the last three months alone.
If we’re going to defeat Barack Obama, the Abortion President, and replace him with an authentic leader for Life in 2012, we must start laying the groundwork now by building our war chest.
Nothing could be more important than electing a pro-life president in 2012.  We must reverse the onslaught of anti-Life policies and go on the offensive for unborn children.

How are we going to do it?
  • The Pledge—Our Pro-Life Presidential Leadership Pledge is a minimum standard of leadership we expect from the presidential candidates. It is an opportunity for the candidates to answer the hunger of the grassroots for authentic pro-life leadership. Your SBA List will continue to push each and every Republican presidential candidate to sign the Pledge. And with your help we’ll educate early caucus and primary voters about where each candidate stands on the Pledge.
  • Life as a Core Issue—Throughout the 2012 cycle, the SBA List will work tirelessly to push the issue of Life to the forefront of the presidential race. We’ll ensure that our voice for the unborn is louder and stronger than those who call for truces, or those who think social issues don’t matter.
  • Exposing Obama’s Anti-Life Record — Barack Obama is the most pro-abortion president our nation has ever seen. The SBA List will educate key swing voters in battleground states on President Obama’s record. We’ll expose his unwavering support for pro-abortion judges and taxpayer funding of abortion. Polls show that when pro-life voters are educated and mobilized, they can provide the margin of victory in close races.
The stakes are high.   Every day in our nation, four thousand children die from abortion while that many women are left hurt and scarred.
Not only are we going up against President Obama’s re-election campaign team and the Democratic National Committee, but you can bet that the pro-abortion lobby is raising funds right now to ensure Barack Obama is re-elected.
Unborn children cannot take another four years of Barack Obama sitting in the White House and Kathleen Sebelius directing Health and Human Services.
     And
I strongly believe that if Barack Obama is elected to another term, he will only ramp up his anti-Life agenda.
With your support, the SBA List will aggressively lay the groundwork to defeat Barack Obama and elect a true pro-life President in 2012.  With a pro-life leader in the White House, we can reverse the damage done by the Obama administration and quickly go on the offensive to pass laws that will save the lives of unborn babies and their mothers.
The need for a pro-life leader has never been greater.
We can do this, but only with your help.
For Life,

, Marjorie Dannenfelser, President, Susan B. Anthony List at http://www.sba-list.org

    P.S. If we’re going make
a one-term President of Barack Obama, the most pro-abortion President our nation has ever seen, we’re going to need all hands on deck.
In the past three months alone, the Democratic National Committee and Barack Obama’s re-election campaign raised a combined $86 million.  But it won't end there – you can bet that the pro-abortion lobby is furiously raising funds to ensure the Abortion President is re-elected

Life - Re: U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein responding to your message

Dear Senator Feinstein,
Thank you for your informative response.
If abortion was excluded from funding of Planned Parenthood's activities then I could agree with your personal position on the matter; however, as one who believes that the killing of babies is wrong, except in the rare circumstances in which the mother's life is really endangered, I must agree (albeit in a backward sense) with Josef Stalin: "One death is a tragedy; one million is a statistic." in that babies are murdered one-at-a-time.  Abortion is a tragedy.  It is America's Final Solution ...one baby (person) at a time.
I am not Jewish and will never fully comprehend what Jews must feel toward the Holocaust but having lived in Europe during the time of Hungary's occupation by the Soviets and having been schooled with refugees from there (shot at while escaping), and having visited Nazi death camps, and knowing a little of my father's opening gates of a death camp toward the end of WWII to rescue those still alive, I have since that time feared the horrors of state sponsored mass murder.
For these reasons, and for having experienced the dilemma of a 'life of the mother' situation, it is impossible for me to understand the logic of 'supporting family planning' when that euphamism conceals the wholesale slaughter of human beings ...especially for monied reasons.
'Family Planning' should mean being educated to take responsibility for one's lifestyle decisions, to be weaned from the 'nanny state, welfare mentality', and to be responsible to prevent pregnancy before what our current President flippantly calls what he referred to as "...making a mistake."  If a woman elects to allow herself to become pregnant, she and her male partner should shoulder the joint responsibility to have the child and either raise it properly or allow a wanting family to provide a good home and life for the child.  It would in the long run be cheaper for the State to support the family and for the child, obviously good.
There are rare circumstances in which termination at the earliest moments after conception must be considered; however, to allow unfettered, wholesale slaughter of innocents for 'family planning', for population control (e.g. 25% of all Negroes aborted since '73), for 'maintaining a life style', or to save the parent(s) from responsible parenthood is absurd on its face.
I would think that those whose own Forebearers suffered the horrible atrocities of state sponsored terrorism would have the depth of understanding to agree that They were not simply a "statistic."
    Sincerely, a voting constituent.
    Robert Harrold, El Centro, California
P.S.  I welcome a response from you that I may share with others before the next election.

Feinstein, Dianne (D-CA)$2,500
Public funds account for roughly a third of Planned Parenthood’s $1 billion annual budget.   Thus, it would appear that approximately that at a minumum $833 was tax paid into Feinsteins personal campaign account.  One could assume that this is but a minuscule representation of the direct and indirect 'pay-ola' funneled to Senator Feinsteins campaign war chest.  And, note that Sen. Feinstein, being a so called 'representative of the people', denigrates the issue of "baby killing" as only being "of personal significance for many people" disregarding the inhumanity of elective abortions ...relegating it to an individual matter not one of greater significance.  Further, What is the one word that she "by choice" selectively omits from her response?  It is easy for her to "roll over the 90% 'tax paid' funding to avoid the obvious that which goes 'unmentioned ...the 'unmentionable' 10%?  Her reference to a "bipartisan" agreement signed into law by "o'bamacide" was committed during the tenure of a Democratically controlled House & Senate.  It is without comment that Senator Feinstein has a 100% lifetime rating from Planned Parenthood who, per 'The American Life League' reported: (as of 23 February 2011) that Planned Parenthood Federation of America recently posted on its web site its so-called service numbers for 2009.  This document, dated February 2011, shows that Planned Parenthood committed 332,278 surgical and medical abortions in 2009 — more than in any previous year!
To the credit of Senator Feinstein, whether the response to my prolife message from her was a computer generated auto-response or not, at least she responded unlike the "red diaper baby" Congressman Bob Filer (D-CA 51st) and unlike Senator Boxer (both of whom apparently 'choose' to ignore their constituents.) -- rfh

From: senator@feinstein.senate.gov To: Robert Harrold Sent: Wednesday, June 22, 2011 Subject: U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein responding to your message

Dear Mr. Harrold:
Thank you for contacting me to express your concerns regarding federal funding provided to Planned Parenthood.  I appreciate the time you took to write and welcome the opportunity to respond.
Since my election to the Senate, I have supported Planned Parenthood because I believe the preventive health and contraceptive services it provides are essential for many people who cannot access care anywhere else.  I believe comprehensive family planning services can reduce unplanned pregnancies by providing education, counseling, and contraception.
Ending funding to Planned Parenthood would have left millions of Americans without health services.  90% of Planned Parenthood services are preventive.  This includes family planning, contraception, breast and pelvic exams, cancer and sexually transmitted infection screenings, annual exams, and prenatal and well baby care.  In 2010 in California, Planned Parenthood administered over 84,000 Pap tests and nearly 170,000 breast exams.
The funding bill for fiscal year 2011 passed by the House of Representatives (H.R. 1) would have excluded Planned Parenthood from receiving any federal funds.  On March 9, I voted against H.R. 1, which was ultimately rejected by the Senate.
On April 14, 2011, I voted in favor of a bill to fund the government through the end of fiscal year 2011, which was signed into law by the President on April 15, 2011 (Public Law 112-010).  This bipartisan agreement allows Planned Parenthood to continue receiving federal funding.
While we may disagree on this issue, I recognize that this is a topic of great personal significance for many people, and I will keep your comments in mind as I continue to review legislation on this topic in the future.
Again, thank you for writing.  If you have any further questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact my Washington D.C. office at (202) 224-3841.
Best regards.  Sincerely yours, Dianne Feinstein, United States Senator

2012 - Life v death: Pro-Life Candidates & Your Abortion Tax $

The Pro-Life Presidential Leadership Pledge: Who Will Lead for Life in 2012?
The Susan B. Anthony List's 2012 Pro-life Presidential Leadership Pledge asks declared presidential candidates to commit to key pro-life goals if elected to the presidency in 2012.  While this is by no means a complete list of all pro-life objectives, having a President that actively supports these pro-life aims will keep up the momentum to achieve our ultimate goal of ending abortion in this country.  Click each candidates' name to see their signed pledge.

Rep. Michele Bachmann Speaker Newt Gingrich Rep. Ron Paul Gov. Tim Pawlenty Sen. Rick Santorum
The following candidates refused to sign the pledge: Herman Cain, Gov. Gary Johnson, Gov. Mitt Romney.

1997-2008 Planned Parenthood Federation of America Services to Pregnant Women

Earlier this year, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) released a report on federal funding of organizations that perform abortion.  The report found that from 2002-2009 pro-abortion groups spent over 1 billion dollars from the federal government.  This includes $657.1 million dollars to Planned Parenthood over 7 years.
This exorbitant amount of money does not tell the whole story.  Planned Parenthood and similar organizations take in much more money through funding streams not covered in the report, and from state and local grants.  The government's ties with abortion providers is deeply concerning, and passing these bills with be the first big step in ending this deadly relationship.
