As much as it pains me to say, I don't expect much from Levi Johnston's book. Update!

Some of you have been asking if I received an advance copy of Levi's book, the answer is no.

And considering the falling out that I had with Rex Butler and Tank Jones, I am not at all surprised.

The only contact I have had with anybody connected to the book, was when the authors contacted me to ask for Sadie's phone number, which I thought was rather odd since they were working with her brother.

Anyhow here is a rather troubling excerpt from this book:

We hear his side of the story about her pregnancy and the birth of their son. Levi says that Bristol was inspired when she learned her mother was pregnant.

“I’m the one, Bristol said, who should be having a baby. Not Sarah. . . . Bristol looked at me. Let’s get pregnant.” Levi says Bristol didn’t stop talking about having a baby after her mother’s new son, Trig, arrived. “When she started talking about it, I asked her about birth control, but she assured me that everything was safe. I only half believed her.”

Later, he writes, “Bristol got pregnant on purpose. She had finally come clean, admitted to me that she hadn’t been taking her birth control pills. We were having a baby, end of story.”

Now I have NEVER spoken to Levi about Sarah's "pregnancy," and he has never given any hint to his mother or sister concerning what he knows, but if Tank Jones is to be believed (And there was a time when I still think he WAS telling the truth), he certainly knows something quite different than what is in this book.

But even if I did not have access to that kind of information it would be obvious that Levi was not telling the truth.

He claims that "Bristol didn't stop talking about having a baby after her mother's new son, Trig, arrived."

According to the official account of his birth, Tripp was born on December 27, 2008, and was originally supposed to have arrived ten days earlier. In order for that to have been a full term pregnancy, Bristol would have had to be pregnant no later than mid to late March 2008.

Trig was born on April 18, 2008.  Why would Bristol STILL have been trying to get pregnant after she supposedly was already pregnant?

And besides that according to Mercede and Sherry they were BOTH talking about getting pregnant, so Levi's story about being surprised simply does not ring true.

As I am sure most of you remember I had an author all ready to help Levi write a book in December of 2009, but when it came to actually signing a contract Rex and Tank got cold feet and backed out.

Part of me wonders if they realized that with my participation, THIS version of reality would never have made it into the book, therefore they needed to find co-authors who would not question Levi's version of events?

Well I still have Levi's book pre-ordered on my Nook, so I will sit down tomorrow and read through it before passing any final judgement.  However from what I have seen thus far, I fear that Levi may have kept the truth at arms length.

Update: I received my copy of the book and have already read almost a third of it.

It literally reads like Levi actually wrote it!  I did not expect it to be good, but this is a whole new level of bad!

I kid you not, the majority of it is actually about hunting and hockey!

I am sorry Levi, I wanted very much for you to vindicate yourself, but this is just embarrassing.  If you had just refused to let Tank and Rex take over your life you could have had so much.

If anybody reads it and has a different opinion feel free to share, but I can not imagine that being the case.

To be honest I am not sure I can even make myself finish reading this damn thing.

Levi Johnston's book confirms that he and Bristol were trying to get pregnant, but there is still something missing.

Courtesy of the AP:

Johnston writes in his upcoming book his ex-girlfriend Bristol Palin was so angry about her mother's pregnancy with son Trig she wanted to get pregnant, too.

Johnston says when Bristol found out her mother, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, was expecting a baby she responded she should be having a baby, not her mother.

He says she told him in March 2008, "let's get pregnant."

He says they had begun dating in 2006 and had been sexually active.

Johnston says he'd "been too dumb" to use protection while dating Bristol but knew having a baby was "what she wanted."

The good: Levi confirms Mercede and Sherry's' version of HOW Bristol got pregnant. And THAT is going to seriously damage Bristol's ability to continue to market herself as the poor abandoned single mother. Abstinence spokesperson my ass!

He also confirms that Bristol was very angry when she heard the news about Sarah's "pregnancy," which is the same version I heard from a source close to Bristol over two years ago.

The bad: What is left out is WHY Bristol would have been so angry at her mother, and WHY she would have wanted to IMMEDIATELY try to get pregnant.

I am positive that Levi knows the answer to this question, and from what I was told by someone very close to him, he is leaving something very major out of this story.

If indeed that information is left out of his book it will leave me with NO choice but to fill in the blanks with what I know, and then attempt to make sense out of the incomplete picture that all of those bits of information present to us.

I will give Levi the opportunity to fill in those blanks himself, but if he did not do so in his book then I do not expect him to do it in response to my request.

I also have yet to figure out why Levi has not fought harder for his son. Something about that makes me think there is something very fishy afoot.

Just like her mother, Bristol Palin is destined to always play second fiddle. This time to her very own son, Tripp Johnston.

"Hey Trig, what say we get our own agents and drop these dead weight family members? After all WE have been the star attractions all along!
Courtesy of Wetpaint:

Not a single shot of Bristol Palin’s new, yet-to-be-named reality show has aired, but Wetpaint Entertainment can already tell you who’ll be burning up the screen when it does!

Kyle and Chris Massey, Bristol’s costars, who will be sharing a pad with her in L.A., tell us that her two-year-old son, Tripp, is a sight to be seen. And the cameras love the tot.

“Tripp is the man,” said Kyle at the Urban Sanctuary Jet Set Luxe Lounge on September 6. “He’s just such a good kid. I think one thing that’s really great is that people are going to be able to see Tripp, how he really is and see him grow up in front of their eyes. It’s going to be cool.”

“Look out for the little one; he’s just like a character,” added brother Chris. “It’s funny to just watch him.”

Great, now Tripp will find himself thrown under the bus just like EVERYBODY who dares to embarrass Bristol or Sarah!

Hey maybe Tripp will get his OWN reality show and dump his untalented mother for a new co-star.

Which, by the way, might work out perfectly since rumor has it there is also interest in putting Mercede in front of the cameras for HER own show.  Now I hate reality shows as a rule, but the "Mercede and Tripp, Wild in Wasilla" show sounds like "must see TV" to me. And just imagine how much happier Tripp will be to spend time with a family member who always thinks of his needs first!

As they say in Wasilla, "Sucks to be you Bristol!"

Bristol Palin puts her son Tripp to work helping to pay the bills. Yeah, why should he not have to pull his own weight?

These were apparently scenes filmed for Bristol's reality series.

You know I would never suggest that I am an expert on raising children (pretty close though), but don't you think that once a child is old enough to push his own stroller that he no longer needs one?

Tripp is only about four months shy of his third birthday, and he appears rather large for his age, I really think he would benefit from being treated like a young boy, and NOT a baby. And what the hell is with the pacifier?

Besides it does not appear that he is too happy with the whole stroller situation.

That is clearly the face of a very angry young man.

And perhaps part of that reason is because he might be missing somebody...

..who is also REALLY missing him.

(BTW you can count Sadie as somebody who believes that the anonymous poster on the Nick Broomfield post is on the up and up. It was this comment here that convinced her: "Bristol talks about Sadie 24/7. Like...Constantly. It's the worst case of projection I have ever seen. She is so jealous of Sadie, she has taught Tripp to go "ewwww" and wrinkle his nose if Bristol shows him a photo of Sadie."   She said she had been told that before by people who have seen her do it. And people say Mercede is that vindictive one.)

Bristol Palin is filmed eating a hot dog for her new reality show. I guess they already filmed her doing her laundry and brushing her teeth. So exciting!

Courtesy of the Daily Mail:

The three friends were spotted at a hotdog stand, Bristol smiling as she ordered her chilli dog.Bristol tried to eat the snack nicely with a knife and fork but it became difficult and she picked it up with her hands. (You can see video of the segment here.)

I don't think it is any mystery as to WHY Bristol was using a knife and fork to eat her hot dog.

I am guessing her mother warned her NOT to put anything phallic anywhere near her mouth. Good call mom.

She recently sparked internet rumours of plastic surgery, with observers nothing her jawline appearing more angular and cheekbones more pronounced.

She has battled with her weight since giving birth to Tripp in December, 2008.

Bristol battled to lose weight while competing in DWTS, a show credited with helped several celebrities she pounds.

She told Access Hollywood: 'I haven't really noticed a change in [my body].

'I think most people lose weight [on the show] because they're too stressed out to eat. I haven't had that problem.'

 Jesus how "unstressed" was she?

You know I did some checking into this meme that keeps popping up, usually from concern trolls, that Bristol was "always battling her weight" as a teenager.

You know what I learned?  You guessed it, total bullshit.

In fact Bristol was a pretty active teenager who engaged in sports both in school, and out of school.

However it was also recently confirmed that somewhere around the end of 2007 Bristol started to wear sweatshirts, and sweaters constantly.

Of course that was just when people actually saw her.  Which around that time was apparently quite rare.

And I was also told that "Because of her round face, the sweatshirts always made her look kind of heavy, but you really could not tell if she was gaining weight or not."

For reasons I hope to explain later, I found that VERY, VERY interesting.

P.S. According to People magazine Bristol also recently got the letter "T" tattooed on the top of her foot.

Budding reality star Bristol Palin, 20, had a cursive "T" inked on the top of her right foot – and her rep tells PEOPLE that "T is for Tripp, Trig, Track and Todd," her son, two brothers and father, respectively.

WTF? That may be one of the strangest reasons for getting a tattoo I have ever heard.

The best pictures I have found of Bristol Palin's Phoenix, Arizona book signing.

"I have to remember what mom said, about not worrying about small crowds because SarahPAC will buy up the leftovers"

"You actually plan to read my book! Wow, that is more than I did!"
When is a child NOT a child? When he is a prop for selling merchandise. Poor kid!

And the truly sad thing is that Tripp had to endure uncomfortable surroundings and the hot climate for only about 35 to 40 people.

(H/T to Gage at Ron Paul Forums for his great pics.)

Bristol Palin book signing in Fredericksburg, yet another Texas sized tragedy for the family of grifters.

Courtesy of the delightfully named blog, I Tried Being Tasteful:

We didn’t attend the big event which kicked off at 6 pm because we had the grandkids here and because we really didn’t give a hoot. However we did end up at Walmart later in the evening after our weekly pilgrimage to McDonald’s.

When my husband was checking out at Walmart he went to the express checkout that happened to be right next to the area where Ms. Palin had been holding court.

The checker had been there the whole time and said that Bristol had left after only 20 mins. to a half hour of signing. There was even a point where there was no one waiting, so she graciously (to her credit) went around and introduced herself to the employees in the area.

In the grand tradition of her Mama Grizzly, she’d brought little Tripp (have I got the name right? With all the Tripps, Tracks, Trigs, etc., it’s hard to keep up) along for added value. No Sarah, though.

What kind of a country is this, where a hateful, over privileged, young "single mother" cannot attempt to destroy the reputation of her baby's father by essentially accusing him of date rape and then get paid millions of dollars for it?  I thought this was America!

And this happened in TEXAS!  Where else in the WHOLE world could Bristol Palin hope to be more welcomed than in Texas?

(P.S. Please visit the link to the blog that printed this story.  I am sure you agree they deserve some IM love for this awesome post!)

Full Bristol Palin interview on the View.

It is interesting to me that Bristol walks out there  is NONE of the usual hugging and enthusiasm that you see with virtually EVERY other guest.  Instead she she walks right past Elizabeth, Sherri, and Joy to sit down next to Barbara who seems to be the ONLY person glad to see her there.

Then Barbara, no stranger to the plastic surgeon's knife herself, begins to compliment Bristol on her weight loss and her new look. Awkward!

However Tripp is an extremely cute little boy, and when they show him on screen it suddenly defrosts the other co-hosts, allowing yet another Palin to use their children to gain sympathy and acceptance.

Barbara then confronts Bristol concerning her story about having her virginity "stolen," asking her whether or not she gave consent. Bristol stumbles over her response, seeming to believe that "losing your virginity" is akin to losing your car keys, and then claiming that if she had not been drunk it would never have happened. (I did think it funny when Barbara asked her if she was "high." Especially since I have talked to a few ex-friends of hers that say she is not a virgin in that area either. So much for that "moral code.")

By the way Levi WAS at the house almost constantly, and essentially moved in there when her mother was on the campaign trail. I have talked to both Mercede and Sherry about this extensively and they both say he was there constantly for months. Once Tripp was born, that is when the relationship suddenly ended (yet again).

When Bristol admits she has asked Levi to hand over his parental rights, that part is accurate. Bristol seems determined to have the opportunity to refer to herself as a "single mom" (And earn money by doing so) and Levi has made that hard by constantly attempting to be a part of Tripp's life.  It seems much of the reason she wants him out of the picture is because his presence screws up her ability to attract pity for raising her son on her own, with no support. (I guess everybody is just supposed to ignore that her mother is a millionaire now.)

Now as for WHY Levi has not taken Bristol back to court for not allowing him his visitation rights, I cannot explain.  I will say that back when Levi was first going through this legal process with Bristol that I tried to get Tank and Rex to hire a REAL family lawyer to represent him, even going so far as to find one willing to look at the case for free, and possibly representing him pro bono.

They refused, and instead seem to have made the worst possible custody deal I have seen in a long time.

Yes, it has occurred to me that Team Levi was paid off, but I have no real proof of that. I have also wondered if Levi himself was paid off, but both Sherry and Sadie simply refuse to accept that possibility. And once again I have no real proof.

As for Tripp being Levi's child, I truly believe that he THINKS Tripp is his son, which is why he has his name tattooed on his bicep. I know that he never had a paternity test, which I also pushed for back in the day, so of course we can always speculate, but Sherry and Mercede went to the hospital on December 27, and believe they met their nephew/grandson on that day.

After this Levi portion, around the 4:37 mark, Whoopi asks Bristol if the criticism she has received since "writing" the book has bothered her, which gives Bristol the opportunity to trot out her newly discovered Christian talking points.

Next Barbara asks her about her new abstinence pledge to wait until she is married before having sex again.  Bristol ABSOLUTELY lies right to her face when asked about this. (Hey Bristol if you are reading this I saw the pictures, and I know you are lying.)

By the way I really believe that Bristol's dislike of Meghan McCain and her family stems from NOTHING more than simple jealousy.

Clearly Bristol has had her hand slapped for saying that Sarah has made her decision to run or not, and refuses to answer the question this time.

At the end I almost choked when Whoopi said that Bristol was being a good mother (I totally disagree with that), and when Bristol said that she welcomes Levi into Tripp's life all of the time (Nothing could be further from the truth). She has become a seamless a liar as her mother, and I truly fear for how Tripp will be raised by this family.

You know I really do not believe that Bristol, nor Sarah for that matter, are really able to perceive just how poorly they come across to the majority of Americans. Even the terrible book sales may not be enough to convince Bristol that she has defined herself as an untalented, money grubbing, hypocrite, who uses her child to line her pockets while disrespecting his father in the public square, and that MOST people find that extremely distasteful.

If things don't go her way she will simply blame it on the "haters," and walk away without learning anything, or growing as a person in any way.

Essentially, despite her often expressed denials as a teenager, she has now BECOME her mother. Which, by the way, is EXACTLY the fate that she deserves.

Picture time!

Somebody sent me a link to Laura Novak's recent post, and I saw this very cute recent picture of Tripp and Trig being uber cute.

Some have already mentioned that they think Trig favors Sarah, but considering what we know about the faked pregnancy that seems rather unlikely. What is very evident however is that Trig is STILL not wearing his glasses or hearing aids like he is supposed to and his crossed eyes appear to have gotten worse.

By the way seeing the boys side by side like this makes the argument that both are the offspring of a Levi and Bristol very hard to swallow.  They are both cute kids, but to me there does not appear to be a great deal of similarities between the two of them. Even putting aside the facial features that are the result of Down syndrome.

However I really DO see a striking resemblance between Tripp and Levi as a child.

Levi was a cute kid, and so is Tripp.

Others have suggested that Tripp favors his mother, which is somewhat harder to determine since she has so dramatically altered her looks as illustrated in these pictures of her arriving at Fox and Friends on June 26th.

Nice Gestapo boots Bristol!

It looks like Bristol changed her clothes before she did her softball interview, as you can see for yourself below. (This by the way is the segment where Bristol accidentally told the truth about whether or not her mother knew if she was running for President.)

Listening to Bristol bash Levi sounds even uglier now that Mercede has told us that virtually everything she says is a bunch of bullshit.

Despite devastatingly bad sales Bristol continues her sad little book tour of lies.

Apparently Bristol will be in Birmingham, Alabama this next Tuesday.  This time it looks like she will be flying solo so that her mother can avoid the embarrassment of what happened at her LAST book signing..

However Bristol has proven that she does not need her mother to hold her hand while she trots out one lie after another. I imagine that the Grizzled Mama just beams with pride.

From the Birmingham News:

Bristol Palin was 17 and seven-months pregnant when first approached about writing a book.

"I said, ‘No, not right now,’" she says. "‘I’m just a kid. I don’t have much to write about.’ I hadn’t been able to look back on anything yet, and I really didn’t have anything to say."

"I figured the more honest and candid I can be in the book, the better. At the end of the day, it’s so more relatable to so many more people," says Palin, now 20. "I wasn’t going to hold back."

I'm sorry exactly WHAT has changed that makes this simpleton believe that her life is worth reading about now? And whatever she thought it was, I believe the dismal book sales are teaching her how wrong she was about that.

Palin’s calling from a hotel room in New York, and despite being interrupted a couple of times by her son, she’s more than happy to talk about her memoir. And she doesn’t back down when it comes to what she wrote about Johnston or Meghan McCain, daughter of Sarah Palin’s presidential running mate, John McCain.

Of Johnston, she doesn’t have much more to say about him past what she details in the book. There, he’s a cheating scoundrel who "stole" her virginity from her. She says she hasn’t spoken to Tripp’s father "in a long time."

"I actually have full physical custody of him," she says of Tripp. "Levi’s entitled to see Tripp. He has visitation rights, but he certainly doesn’t use them. It’s unfortunate, and I never, ever thought that the father of my child wouldn’t see his child as much as I hoped or wanted, but that’s just the way it is. I’m just thankful that I have an awesome dad and awesome brother that are awesome with Tripp."

Levi has been trying multiple times to see his son, and he gets blocked virtually every time.  I also understand that Bristol will not take his phone calls anymore which is undoubtedly WHY she has not heard from him in such a long time. (And to answer your question I have NO idea why he does not take her back to court.)

In "Not Afraid of Life," Palin recounts her distrust of Meghan McCain, whom, she writes, wore thousand-dollar dresses and constantly complained about her treatment.

"I feel like that was necessary to put in the book just because that totally shows the difference between us and between our families," Palin says. "We’re both politician’s children, but I think she was a lot more defined by it than I would ever be. I wrote in the book about how my mom wouldn’t let us ride first class when she was the governor. We didn’t have any perks when she was governor. We always had jobs. Meghan was the opposite of that."

Believe me, if Palin could have figured out some way to make the state of Alaska pay for her children's first class tickets, they would have NEVER flown coach again!

There is even more moosecrap in this interview but I have already addressed most of it before.

However on that front I have some very good news.

Tomorrow Mercede will post the first of many responses to the scurrilous claims that Bristol makes in her book.  I have read what Sadie has to say, and believe me the Fourth of July will DEFINITELY have some serious fireworks!

Finally, somebody who actually knows what happened will call that nasty little snot out on her lies.  And believe me I am going to make sure that EVERY news outlet is notified about it too!

Tuesday, June 28, 2011

Sadly I have seen WAY too many Bristol Palin videos today, but this one is the strangest.

I have watched this video about four times now, and there is something very wrong with how her face moves.  Is that the result of cheek implants, or is she just high? Anybody?

So besides the video there is also this article.  Here are some of her more bizarre answers.

On abstinence:

"I hate the word abstinence," she says. "My mom knows I hate that word, everyone knows I hate that word. People think that I'm just 'abstinence only, do not have sex.' No. If you're going to have sex, practice safe sex. But the best option to prevent teen pregnancy is to not have sex."

You know, not only does Bristol hate the WORD abstinence, she also hates the PRACTICE of abstinence.

On her jaw surgery:

In person, a double take is required to first recognize her. The fullness of adolescence in her face is gone, leaving her with a much more angular look.

The surgery has been fodder for the likes of Kathy Griffin and Bill Maher.

"Why do people care?" asks Palin. In the mirror, she says she can't tell much of a difference. "Do people care when someone gets braces or glasses? Honestly, I'm just thankful I have tough skin to deal with that kind of stuff."

She doesn't read blogs and says her critics will talk regardless of what she does. What you'll never see her do?

"Pose naked," she shoots back. "Never."

You know, not to be mean, but I don't think anybody is clamoring to have Bristol pose naked. That may be the one thing she will not have trouble abstaining from.

On her next hook up:

What she wants: "Someone with the same religious beliefs as me and someone who's a family man." But "I have no time to date anyone right now."

Unless of course they brought their own tent and ice chest stocked with wine coolers.

Afer all a Wasilla girl can only hold out so long ya know.

I so wanted to believe that Bristol was just the victim of her mother's poor decisions and that there was something redeemable about her character.  I was wrong to give her that much credit.
