THE FERRY

The boatman is waiting to sail me away

These aching hands have worked me through another day

But I hear a tremble in our northern sky

And like the wind that shakes the valley I will fly

Ferry me over

ferry me on

Ferry me over

ferry me on

                                                                     Dougie MacLean

Long Island, the home I Love.
I shall think about her, and my family left behind,
 all the time.

June 22/11-6:57PM -  My chops and ear are very  good these days, and I have come up with a couple of new ideas for the banjo. One is an accompaniment and/or rendition to DM's Caledonia above.

Also one that goes with a Loreena McKennitt number. Very Middle Eastern, and it feels freaking great, like getting something off my chest that I have held for a long time.

All dedicated to HER of course.

And one last thing for this Post to HER, at 2:27:

Beautiful
