Andi Eigenmann: Albie Casiño is the father of my child

PEP: Via Andi's Blog

"I remember, just months ago, I was so into setting up a tea party even by myself, while waiting for the ceremonial 'I do's' of Prince William and Kate. I was dreaming with my eyes open as I envisioned myself having my wedding similar, with only less of a budget difference, as compared to theirs. Now, I have to stay home and deal with feeling like a planet, while I wait for the ultimate due date. I thought, maybe thinking about how my life should be right now, like the freedom and lightness of dreaming of the next wedding of the century, would readily bring me to tears again. Tears of regret in terms of being fully aware of the greatness and success that should have been. But no. No, because God really does love me.

"As soon as I have learned to embrace the fact that instead of having a child at the age of 29, it was blessed upon me as early as now, all those points that would usually bring me to endless tears, have remained to be dreams, STILL highly possible from coming true. This just goes to show that, yes, amidst the lack of maternal instincts and no ounce of being nurturing or maternal whatsoever, I am now undoubtedly ready to raise a child on my own. Of course this comes with being lucky enough to have the best set of supportive family members. Sadly, in life, not everything has to go our way. God didn't create us to be immature spoiled brats who have to get everything as planned. Nothing's perfect, but I can assure you one thing: God is awesome and He knows what's best for us, without a doubt. Though not everything may go our way, things will always end up to be just what would keep us happy and contented. The key I guess, is to not expect things way too much. This will only lead to our hearts being bruised and then scarred. I've had my fair share of heartbreak and pain, and I must admit, they didn't go so well at all. But it's not like Im the daughter of Satan walking the streets of Earth to help let evil overpower this world. I go about each and everyday making sure, I do things that I want, and believe is right, specially without hurting anyone. I never intend to come off as a bad person, in any way whatsoever. And so this state I'm in is something I shouldn't and wouldn't be ashamed of.

"Maybe instead of feeling bad that Albie left me to take on this responsibility by myself, I should thank him for giving me the opportunity go out and find genuine happiness once again. I'd obviously love for him to be around eventually. You know, to save myself the struggle to find a good way to explain his absence to his child. At the same time, I'd understand. Cus after all, I have no idea who or what kind of a person all the fame and fortune has turned him into now. All I hope is that he's well.

"So what about walking down the isle in my awesome white gown? With make up i would try to do myself, just like royals, Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth have done? What about my goal of having the next wedding of the century with lovely guests wearing the trendiest hats? What about grabbing even half as much acting awards as my mom and dad? What about that goal to set out and make a difference? What about that entire journey to genuine happiness through success? What about them all? The answer to that isn't even that there are better things planned out for me. Its-- I just need to wait patiently for the perfect time. Everything will soon fall into place."

Stars who work out, stars who prefer a quick fix

MB:

I was chosen to be included in the exclusive 3S list of stars, socialites and servants (public) for the Philippines Yearbook 2012. Published by the Fookien Times, it will be on its 75th year next year. A stand alone book, “The Philippines Yearbook,” unsurpassed by any other yearly publication is dedicated to the commitment of projecting a positive and progressive image of the Philippines to the world.

Due to the requirements of the pictorial, I needed to enroll again in a good gym with excellent trainers. Platinum Fitness Gym just opened in Gilmore so it was the one which was most accessible to me since it was nearest to my place In New Manila.

On my first day, Platinum head fitness trainer Bok Santos told me, “Oh, you just missed Derek Ramsay. He’s prepping up for his new movie with Anne Curtis so he needs to be lean and well-toned. I will accompany him in his shoot tomorrow.”

Bok Santos is the trainer to the stars. He boasts an impressive list of stars that he trains either in their private homes or in the gym. His early bird client is Kris Aquino, who has her own private gym in her condominium unit. Zanjoe Marudo follows on the next hour, then Maricar de Mesa, Derek Ramsay and other popular basketball stars like James Yap.

Waiting for her turn to be trained was teleserye star Maricar de Mesa Allado so I decided to interview her while I was pumping iron. She told me that working out was part of her healthy lifestyle change.

“Choosing to be healthy makes me feel good inside and out. Plus my husband is a basketball cager for Bmeg Llamados so I have to be as fit as he is.”

Glancing at the body of Maricar, I figured it was a body to die for. Maricar told me I was lucky that I got Bok Santos as she showed off her fabulous body.

“This is a body made by Bok Santos.”

“You make your bodies. I’m just here to train you. But if you have no discipline for diet and exercise, all my training with you will be futile. I promise you three months, Giselle. Just give time for exercise and stick to your present diet, you will have Maricar’s body,” Bok Santos told me.

The quick fix

Alex Crisano and sports columnist Robbie Pangilinan would rather lie down and go under the knife rather than work their bodies for three months.

A couple of years back, after resting from his sports activities, sports columnist Robbie realized that he was missing his once lean body, particularly his chiseled abs. So, off he went to a cosmetic surgeon to undergo total body liposculpture procedure that gave him back his six-pack abs. Popular PBA cager Alex Crisano has also undergone this procedure.

Robbie was overjoyed with the boost of confidence the procedure gave him. So he examined himself closely and knew he wanted more. He was not very happy about his nose, so he decided to have a nose lift.

The result made him ecstatic. He has also tried the only completely safe and effective non-invasive treatment for body slimming on the market today that removes fat and contours the body without any pain, needles, or surgery. The results on Robbie were just as promised – dramatic.

Many of his colleagues and friends tease him about being “Mr. Retokado,” but Robbie does not mind. What matters is he feels good about himself and has gained the self-esteem he needs.

“I talk to a lot of people everyday, mostly showbiz personalities, politicians, athletes, businessmen. I have to look my best and also be fit to cope with the physical demands of my work. For me, it’s more than physical enhancements. The self-confidence it gives you is priceless. In turn, I have become happier with myself,” says the founder and owner of sportsmanila.net, a key player in the sports web industry today

Quick fix down there

Recently, Robbie took enhancement to the highest level when he decided to undergo penis enlargement with complete trust in the able hands of Dr. Manny Calayan.

“I think this is Doc Manny’s best procedure so I made a major decision to try it,” Robbie, who had slight fears at first, says.

All his hesitation vanished when he saw and felt the results of the procedure. In a graphic description, he says it’s like holding a flashlight.

Dr. Calayan explains, “The procedure is very safe, but it is important that patients follow all my instructions. It is for anybody who wants to add thickness to their ‘prized possession’ but only done after careful assessment. Since it is a surgical procedure, there are risks involved and no guarantee on the results.”

For Robbie, the positive outcome outweighed the risks. The procedure has changed his life. He says he feels like 25 years old all over and is proud to be wearing swimming trunks again. He likens himself to American porn star Randy West and local sexy actor of the ’80s Gino Antonio. He has no regrets with the decision he made and actually recommends it to his friends. He is proud and open to anyone about undergoing the procedure.

I asked trainer of the stars Bok Santos if he could do what Calayan did to Robbie and he answered, “Although that is still a muscle, I do not have and will never have any intention touching or training anything down there.”

I didn’t go to UP, Ateneo or La Salle–so what?:

INQUIRER:

Whenever I meet people, there is one question I dread they’ll ask: Where did you go to school?

“Ateneo?”

“La Salle?”

“Uhm, UP?” they’d try for the last time, after getting only silence and a polite smile from me.

By this third attempt, I have a ready answer: “I don’t want to answer that!” And then I add that where I went to study doesn’t matter much. Next topic, please.

Well, of course, what school you went to is supposed to say a lot about you: How financially capable you and your family are, the field you want to pursue, the values you and your parents have.

But where you go to school does not—should not—define you as a person. I’m sure most people don’t really consider one’s alma mater as the basis for a relationship, for instance.

I guess asking about one’s school is just an ice breaker. After all, discovering that you went to the same university becomes fun when you realize you have common friends (or enemies), or that you hung out in the same cafeteria but never really saw each other.

I’ve been part of such conversation several times, except that instead of being one of the excited parties rattling off the names of college cuties, I’d be in the middle, awkwardly silent, eyeballs rolling, praying that everyone would move on to another topic.

When I was still a student, I didn’t really know how to handle the dreaded question. There were times I’d say “secret,” no matter how baduy and KJ that was, or joke that I was leaving for Harvard soon. There were times I just let them keep on guessing until they gave up. Other times, too, I lied.

Immature self

I have to admit I wasn’t exactly proud of my school. I wasn’t ashamed of it, either, but my immature and insecure younger self didn’t know how to deal with people from more prestigious schools inquiring about my background. I feared they would look down on me if they found out I wasn’t their schoolmate.

Now that I’m in the workforce I still get the dreaded question. And while I’m finally at peace with myself and my schools, I still prefer not to answer the question. Where I studied isn’t the only thing that defines me. I’d rather talk about other stuff: Jude Law, dessert, unrequited love.

I do know my worth. I know I am not any less of a person just because I didn’t graduate from an elite university. In fact, I think I’m better than a lot of people I know who came from UP, Ateneo or La Salle because, despite not having graduated from there, I think I’m more successful than some people from these schools.

It’s true what they say. It’s not important what school you go to. What’s important is how much you learn there—and how you apply it in the real world. You can go to the most prominent and most expensive university and still end up jobless and self-destructive. You can be so poor that you don’t get to go to school, but still wind up richer and more successful than those with double degrees.

In a society that doesn’t prioritize your résumé if it doesn’t say you graduated from UP, Ateneo or La Salle, I might not be so proud of where I graduated but I’m mighty proud of myself.
