Popular Azkals forward Phil Younghusband is the cover boy for Cosmopolitan Philippines’ special supplement for September, Cosmo Men, featuring its 69 Hottest Bachelors for 2011.
According to a report aired on “Unang Hirit” on Sept. 7, Younghusband tops the list of this year’s Cosmo bachelors. Fellow Azkals strikers James Younghusband, Neil Etheridge, Aly Borromeo, Anton del Rosario and Simon Greatwich are also part of the list.
Anton and Aly are happy to be included in it.
“I feel very special to be included in some of the few guys who are the bachelors of the Philippines,” Anton said in a taped interview aired on “24 Oras” Tuesday.
On the other hand, Aly said he’s “grateful and thankful to Cosmopolitan” for including him.
Other personalities who landed their own spots in the list, as named in the reports of “Unang Hirit” and “24 Oras,” are Ahron Villena, Hideo Muraoka, Paulo Avelino, Geoff Taylor, Mike Tan, Gino dela Peña, and Enzo Pineda.
Meanwhile, Enzo said he’s ready to take things up a notch after his Cosmo stint and veer away from his current image.
“Last year, nag-Candy Cutie ako [for Candy magazine], so this year I want to show a different side of Enzo. Siyempre gusto ko na… 21 [years old] na ‘ko eh, so nag-mature na ko. Hindi na ko kailangan magpa-cute, so level up,” the “StarStruck” alumnus said in the same “24 Oras” interview.
More, Enzo said he’s “definitely” going to invite rumored girlfriend and tween star Louise delos Reyes to the Bachelor Bash, where all 69 bachelors will walk down the runway.
“Happy akong makita siya do’n,” said he.
The Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash 2011 will be held on Sept. 15 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
