Dennis Trillo admits he really exerted efforts to achieve his current yummy physique in preparation for his latest flick My Neighbor’s Wife under Regal Entertainment.
“It was a must considering that I will share the screen with Lovi (Poe), Carla (Abellana) and Jake (Cuenca) who are all sexy. I don’t want to be left behind,” he states.
The good-looking actor’s present build is earning him praises.
“Well, thank you. It feels good considering the painstaking phase I went through just to have this body. The process wasn’t that easy. Definitely, it adds more confidence in me now!”
His latest potboiler has a very mature theme.
“It’s a sexy-drama which tackles important marital issues like infidelity. When I read the script, I knew right away that there would be scenes which would require me to appear topless. There are love scenes as well. It’s good I really prepared,” adds Dennis.
It’s also the first time that he would be seen parading on screen wearing a sexy swim shorts.
“Yes! It’s tight-hugging that I felt awkward at first. But eventually, I got the hang of it knowing that I’m fit for the part.”
Jake has a butt exposure in the movie. Many are curious if he too has a similar scene.
“I have none! Ha-ha-ha! Jake is different. He’s really daring. I admire his guts.
“Personally, I don’t know if I can do that. I’m not that brave yet to reveal my private parts on screen. I’m careful when it comes to this delicate aspect in my career.”
Apart from My Neighbor’s Wife, Dennis is also happy with the ratings success of his afternoon soap Sinner or Saint which is about to end soon.
“It’s relieving to know that we met management’s expectations. It was a good show. Bianca (King) and Alessandra (de Rossi) are engaging co-actors. They will bring out the best in you. I hope we’ll be given the chance to work again in the future,” he says.
