I am reposting these documents, with a bit of a different approach and message.
If you look at my College Transcript, you will see a rather rocky progression, due to a drinking problem I had as a kid.
But I went to the AA at age 19, and after that I was completely sober for 11 years.
So as you can see my College grades improved.
Then I later attended Touro Law School, and the grading was VICIOUS! And the whole Socratic method teaching experience was very stressful as well. (Can we say Wackford Squeers? At a Yorkshire School ? :)
I barely got through and was at the bottom of the class. (And to think that at Orientation I had told my girlfriend at the time that if I "Worked Hard" I would make Law Review.
Some have said that Touro should have kicked me out, after the first year, and not taken my Federally backed Student Loan tuition money. I don't know. I don't know.
So to you young kids, be aware that after you spend all that tuition money for law school, remember that your College days are over, and, as I say, the grading in Law School is VICIOUS! , and you might be a very unhappy camper. For "Hard Work" in Law School is necessary, but it is not sufficient for good grades. Either you have the mind for it or you don't.
Some might argue that Law School and the Law School grading system is just fine and normal.
Maybe so. Maybe so.
But many, many of you kids will end up with "C" grades, and.....your future may well be affected by that.
As some people used to say when I was at Tier 4 Touro Law School: "Welcome to the land of "C's
Anyway, I started to drink again after I graduated from Law School, and looked around and found out that a JD on the resume did not "magically" open doors anywhere, and you can read about all that stuff here:

OH ANYWAY, I NOW OWE THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS, AND GROWING, IN STUDENT LOANS UNTIl I AM AT LEAST 65 YEARS OLD. THEN THE IRS WILL HAND ME A HUGE TAX BILL ON THE DISCHARGED AMOUNT, WHICH WILL BE MUCH MUCH HIGHER THAN 300K BY THEN.
AND IT NAGS THE EVER LIVING SHIT OUT OF ME EVERY SINGLE DAY.
THERE ARE NO CONSUMER BANKRUPTCY PROTECTIONS FOR STUDENT LOANS.
AND FOLKS, A WHOLE SCHOOL STUFFED FULL OF THE VERY BESTEST AND TIP TOPPIEST SHRINKS IN THE WORLD CAN'T SPIT OUT A LEARNED DIAGNOSIS AND A REMEDY FOR ALL THAT.
AND NO NEAT LITTLE ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS JINGLE OR CATCHY PHRASE WILL PROVIDE RELIEF EITHER.
