When A Woman Laughs Like That (For Ann Coulter)

........the light danced warmly on Ann's leaning face and then on her throat and cheek as, still crouching, she looked up at me when I approached the hearth. Her eyes were glittering like the eyes of a child when you give a nice surprise, and she laughed in a sudden, throaty, tingling way. It is the way a woman laughs for happiness. They never laugh that way just when they are being polite or at a joke. A woman only laughs that way a few times in her life. A woman only laughs that way when something has touched her way down in the very quick of her being and the happiness just wells out as natural as breath and the first jonquils and mountain brooks. When a woman laughs that way it always does something to you. It does not matter what kind of a face she has got either. You hear that laugh and feel that you have grasped a clean and beautiful truth. You feel that way because that laugh is a revelation. It is a great impersonal sincerity. It is a spray of dewy blossom from the great central stalk of All Being, and the woman's name and address hasn't got a damn thing to do with it. Therefore, that laugh cannot be faked................for all that any man really wants is to hear a woman laugh like that."

BTW, This is best in Full Screen

* Anyway, and to everyone, I'm feeling better today. No beer for the last couple of days, and I sleep like I am dead.

I've also been eating that chicken soup that I made on Sunday for the last few nights. All the nutrition in it brings color to the face, and I have that spring in my step that I don't have when I pound the tall boys and eat the usual bachelor fare the night before: like frozen Digornos Pizza or burritos etc with no vegetables and no fruit. My ex-wife was Italian, and an outstanding Italian cook. I sure do miss her cooking.......

What really makes me feel great the next day is if I don't have any beer the night before, and also make a pitcher of juice with my Jack La Lanne juicing machine. All the vitamins I guess. But one has to be in a patient mood when making juice with a juicing machine. You know, there are all the parts to clean afterwards.

And so this Post is on a different tack from the last one. It is a follow up to my seeing Ann Coulter in a recent TV interview. And, of course, she laughed here and there.

Ah....it is all in fun, and I don't think she minds.

I'm pleased as well on a small thing: The mention of jonquils by RPW is coincidental, but it works out :)

Anyway, if all my wild antics happen to make her or anyone laugh once more a little, what harm is there in that?

And, For PK:

I am Roman Catholic, but here is DEE, the Preacher, for the Evangelical Christian theme,
mentioned in the AC Interview.
DEE is playing a "Banjola" which is basically a 5 string Banjo,
but with a Cittern - type wood body.
(Again,  full screen is better)

See you all on Saturday.
