I've been buried lately.
And by buried, I mean, completely, totally drowning in a sea of emails, editing, writing a new book, editing some more, writing a little more, writing out 20 guest blogs and interviews, writing a little more, editing some more....
Oh, and add 4 kids to the mix.
Yikes. I'm busy. Busy to the 48th degree I'd say.
Buried. Big time.
But now my vacation is upon me. My family is going to the ocean for 9 days. Le sigh....(There. You see? I told you that I sigh in French.)
We are going to make sand castles.
And swim in the waves.
And go to the aquarium.
And eat fresh seafood.
And explore a city I LOVE.
And relax.
And did I say....RELAX?
I'm so excited. Really, I am. I feel almost giddy, even though the next 5 days are going to be filled with the stress of washing and folding laundry, then packing for 4 children, then loading a car, then realizing that I forgot to pack something, so I will have to run to the store at 12midnight the night before we leave....
You get the drift.
But regardless, it is going to be worth it.
Because I'll get to see smiles on my kids faces, and I'll get to focus on my current work in progress for a week, instead of blogs, blogs, blogs, blogs, interviews, blogs, blogs, interviews, editing, blogs, blogs, editing, interviews, editing, blogs....
Again....you get the drift.
Here's to my vay-cay. My breaky-break.
T minus 5 days. Woot woot!
Brooke Moss.
