It seems that People.com sparks a lot of things for me to blog about recently. Today, as I was browsing through pictures of celebrities that embraced their beautiful changing bodies for the covers of magazines made me wonder...
Did you take maternity pictures that involved you being almost nude (so you can see every bit that pregnancy had changed and modified about your body)?
I did take these types of pictures with my first child...after being inspired by Demi Moore (who I think was one of the first pregnant mommy who did a magazine cover nude during pregnancy). Do you remember that cover of "Vanity Fair"? Of course, my pictures never hit the news stands and truthfully, I am not even sure they made it in a photo album. But I do love the opportunity to look back and see how amazing it is...the beautiful transformation of pregnancy. Watching your body change and transform for nine months, as it accommodates a growing baby inside your womb. PRETTY AMAZING & absolutely beautiful. A TRUE MIRACLE!
Do I think that it should be shared on the covers of the most popular magazines? Probably not! I don't think it's something that my kids should stumble upon while standing in line at the grocery store. But I love the idea of these types pictures being taken to cherish and remember those last special days of pregnancy. Kept in the privacy of their own "at home" photo albums and scrapbooks.
Just curious what your take was on it..."TO BARE IT ALL" or "NOT TO BARE IT ALL"...that is the question!
