I started another Nora Roberts trilogy this week, and thus far it is FABULOUS!
Now, as a prelude, I have to say that I am a huge fan of Nora Roberts' trilogies. I find that I get into the books that come as a series, than the ones that are single titles. I guess it's because I tend to write books like that, mainly because I am obsessed with my characters, and never want to give them up after I am done writing a story. I think Nora feels the same way...
Anyway...so after the Irish Trilogy and the Quinn Brothers (Chesapeake Bay) series, I was having a hard time finding a Nora Roberts trilogy series that sucked me in like the others had. I just wasn't getting adequately sucked in.
And then I found the Garden Trilogy. Book one centers around a widowed mother of two, who moves back to Memphis to work in a garden store and greenhouse. She likes order and organization, and meets a landscape artist who is the exact opposite. Messy and brash and all big and manly and such... *SIGH*
They have an affair, he loves the kids, they wind up together...just like a good Nora book always promises. However, there is an angry ghost living in the house on the grounds who doesn't want Logan in Stella's life! Spookiness ensues....
It's a great read. Fun, sexy, great characters to get attatched to (starting the second on in the series, Black Rose: In the Garden Trilogy
Brooke Moss.
