I read another great book this past week...
It was good. I really related to one of the characters a lot, and I am too embarrassed to admit which one, because when you read it, you might figure it out, and I will feel stupid after that. But relating to at least one of the characters is key for me.
I simply cannot read a book where everyone is beautiful and flawless. Period.
This book covered the story of three friends while they are going through financial strife, and how they manage to claw their way out of the hole each of them have found themselves in. I actually met the author while at the conference this past October, and she was very sweet!
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to my friends who like a nice romance book, with an emphasis on other stuff. The only thing I found myself wishing in this story was that there was more sexiness (not smuttiness,
sexiness.) in the three women's personal relationships. Maybe that's because I spend most of my time reading romance novels, so this one felt naked without a nice hot scene....I would have settled for a warm scene.
But overall, the story was great! I actually learned some money saving tips while reading it, and laughed out loud a few times, which is always good in my book. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a very mild book with great friendship undertones. :)
