This Photo was taken in the summer of 1996. I was 31 years old at the time. It was my first job, and the only work I could find after graduating from Law School. I had to pay my bills.
I worked for a painting contractor. In front from the left: Jose, Tony, Jesus. Top Row: Mike, Me, Nino, Nestor.
I truly believe that the most good-natured, friendly and gentle people in the world must come from Honduras, and after all of the psychological devastation of graduating at the bottom of the class at my T4 Law School, it was very theraputic and healing to work with this great bunch of people. I was able to keep my faith in Humanity.
I had this job for about six months.
