I finished reading a book today.
You can't read it....yet. But someday you'll be able too. I promise you that.
It was written by my writing partner, and I have literally never read talent like this. No sh**, I'm not joking. She is exquisitely talented. Her stories are humorous and relatable, yet sexy and able to make you believe in elves, gargoyles, and a pheonix. (How do you spell that? No really, how in the crap do you spell that?)
This book's ending had me screaming. No, I'm not joking. My husband thinks I am nuts. Maybe I am. But I couldn't help it! It's a cliff hanger (naysayers of cliff hangers be damned! How many of your books have been published. Um...yah.) and it ends in such a way that would make me immediately hop onto Barnes & Noble dot com to buy another copy. It was AWESOME.
Just knowing that I am partnered up with such talent makes me feel like my writing has a future. She inspires me. She pushes me harder and faster than I ever thought I could go. She makes me want to succeed more than I thought I could. In a word, she's kick-ass. Wait. That's two words.
You'll be hearing more from Jess McCallen. I'm sure of it. She's wildly talented and incredibly motivated. She is going to conquer the industry, I know it!!
