I just wanted to share this.
This morning, I walked my little puppy around the local school field.
There was a middle-school level football game going on, and I must have walked in on it at exactly half-time.
One of the teams in the game-the purple team-- was on one side of the field, and kind of sitting down and relaxing. Playing it cool.
The other team in white uniforms, were all sitting on the bleachers maybe 200 yards diagonally away.
Well.....the coach of the white team was screaming and hollering at the kids on his team.
It was obvious to me that the White Team was losing the game.
All I could hear as I kept walking closer with my puppy were the angry tones and the shouting of the coach. And I could see the hanging heads of the team being yelled at. Young kids from my perspective, maybe between the ages of 13 and 15.
So, when I finally got close enough, and behind the back of the shouting coach, I started making silly faces, and pretending I was hanging myself with a rope, and choking myself etc.
The poor white team had no choice but to laugh, and when the coach turned around to see what they were laughing at, I quickly gazed at the ground, and pretended to be picking up dog poop in a bag.
Which just made the entire White team laugh all the more.
But at that point I sort of quickly trotted or jogged with my puppy out of sight and hearing range.
The poor coach was really out of sorts to say the least. Talk about high blood pressure.
Maybe I shouldn't have done that. But it seemed funny at the time.
