Hooray for meeeeeeeee!!
Woot! Woot! Sound the alarms! Call in the band! Start the parade!!
After a few months with no writing partner, and no nightly feedback, and no nothin...I am back on the map with a three woman writing group. It consists of a writer of Romantic Paranormal, Romantic Mystery, and Contemporary Romance (me). And we are such an eclectic group, too. I love the dynamic! And, I think it goes without saying that I am the crazy, uncontrollable, childish one of the bunch. But that is usually my role.
Anyway, so we met for the first time tonight, and it was absolutely fabulous. We laughed, we cried, we held each other and told each other that everything was going to be alright....ok, so that last one was an exaggeration. But we did have a helluva good time. And I left feeling totally motivated, creatively adept, and totally supported! (imagine that...writing partners that make you feel
supported.)
I am so thrilled to be writing with such talented ladies! I am a lucky woman.
P.S. Our group is called the "Pet Pervs". Don't ask me why, it's pretty sad and adolescent. And I love it.
