Almost ready.

My husband convinced me that I needed to go to the conference.

He told me to buck up, start organizing my crap, and go. And so I will. Nothing is going to change while I am gone. Nothing will be better or worse or back or forth or whatever....

So I'm going.

BUT...that means that I have been scrambling to get my pitch perfected and my fulls/partials/synopsis/queries, etc etc etc...all printed out and paper clipped to perfection. I spent most of today printing stuff. My printer is tired and mad at me right now. Poor printer. I'm sorry.

Tomorrow I will work even more on my pitch...it's coming along nicely.

On, a side note, my current read Big Girl: A Novel, is actually halfway decent. I decided recently that I am not a big Danielle Steel fan. Her books don't have enough dialogue to hole a the attention of a boob like me. This one doesn't have a whole lot of dialogue, but the plot seems to be holding my attention much more than the last one I read. Which is a good thing, as I am sort of going through a reading dry-spell lately. I crave endings that I will never get! Booooooo.

So off I go. I am going to change into my PJ's and then work on printing out my query letter. I don't know why I am taking my query to the conference. I guess I am hoping to catch a query writing workshop, so that I can get some feedback. Feedback is good. Goooooood.

I am rummy. I hate that. I need to drink some diet wild cherry pepsi and wake my azz up.
