Claudia is often referred to as a "pixie" or an "elf". She is petite and energetic. She has long white blonde hair with lots of curls, and icy light blue eyes.
Growing up, Claudia and Gennie (her best friend) were together all the time. Claudia was usually the "wilder" one of the two, often getting themselves into trouble with her unrestricted mouth.
Claudia's father, Jim, owns a small logging outfit based in Astoria, and that is how she met her boyfriend, Matthew, as he was working for her father. They met, and were instantly infatuated with each other.
Claudia has always been satisfied with small town life, unlike her best friend, Gennie, and always imagined raising her family in the same town she'd grown up in....until Matthew proposed to her...then Claudia realized that there was a whole, wide world out there to explore.
Claudia is strong. Wildly strong, and is often the "pillar" between her and Gennie.
Claudia's parents, Jim and Lorraine, are madly in love, every bit as in love as they were when they married 25 years before.
Claudia smokes. But her boyfriend, Matthew, doesn't know it.
